Children of the April Rain by Playright William Bryant Doty

In April 1975, during the final days of the Vietnam War, a group of military and civilians decided to evacuate as many of the Vietnamese War orphans as possible. Within three weeks they evacuated over 2,500 Vietnamese War orphans, in what many consider the greatest humanitarian effort of the late  20th century.
The Long Island Breakfast Club is honored to present their story as a staged reading. November 8th, 1PM at G’s Club, 157 Hempstead Avenue, West Hempstead, NY with Lana Noone, co-author of “Global Mom” and hosts Gregg Cajuste and Valentina Janek.
